What is ZamTicket?

ZamTicket is a bus booking app that helps you search, book, and pay for intercity bus tickets in Zambia.

How do I book a ticket?

Choose your boarding town, destination, travel date, bus, seat, and pickup point. Enter passenger details, pay online, and your ticket will appear in the app.

Where can I find my ticket after payment?

Go to My Tickets or Booking History in the app. Your ticket will show your ticket number, trip details, and QR code.

What is the QR code used for?

The QR code is used to verify your ticket at boarding. Show it to the conductor or bus operator before entering the bus.

How early should I arrive before departure?

Please arrive at least 30 minutes before departure, unless the bus operator gives different boarding instructions.

Can I choose my pickup and drop-off point?

Yes. If the bus operator has added available pickup and drop-off points, you can choose them during booking.

What payment methods can I use?

You can pay using the online payment options shown at checkout. Cash payment is not available for bookings made through the customer app.

What happens if payment succeeds but my ticket is not created?

If payment is received but the bus is no longer available, ZamTicket will show a refund message and the refund will be processed according to the payment provider and bus operator process.

Can I cancel my ticket or get a refund?

Cancellation and refunds depend on the bus operator's policy. Check the ticket details or contact ZamTicket support as soon as possible.

Who do I contact for help?

Use the support option in the app. For booking or payment issues, include your ticket number, phone number, and payment reference if available.
